| This is what happens after the Job Fair and during a 3 hour Power Electronics Lab. And guess who was the most productive out of the three in our group. I know. Thank you.

| So for all those who noticed the recent change to facebook, does it just seem a bit creepy that its telling you everything that everyone is doing from the minute they change a single thing? "_____ has just tagged ____'s wall, _____ is now single....blah blah blah." It just seems kinda strange to me. Although it does let the rest of the world know what's new and all, but damn, its seriously become more stalker friendly. Thanks Facebook, you truly bring out the stalker in all of us. Done wit SKOO So this past summer school has now proven to be some real waste of my time. I looked at my grades the other day and a C+ in Anthropology 201, and 'F' in CPE 329. Do you guys know that each class costs bout $400 not to mention rent money for staying in SLO. Sorry to my future self for having to fork out that extra dough for loans to pay for my mistakes right now. But other than that, it was pretty chill in SLO. I'll just have to try harder next quarter. How embarassing. I got on Academic Probation from summer school. Reno Right after summer finals, me, Randy, Andy, and LumDoug hit up Reno fo some easy money. Thas right, $3 min at Blackjacks, craps, and all dem other games you can think of. 50 cent roulette chips. First night there, killed 2 bottles worth of hen with drinks at the Pai Gow Table and some other games i forget cuz that was all bad. We tried the BBQ Ribs Cookoff, also a definite plus, except ribs really don't make good hangover food. Lost $100 dollas but its a good prep to Vegas dis weekend...foshO Steve-A-Palooza/Heidi-A-Palooza Happy Birthday to dese two, crazy ass weekend of nonstop drinking. My liver hates me. First night in Santana Row, Blowfish, Saturday night at Boss, and Sunday night at Suite 181 which was koo. It's always a good reason to make someone drink on their birthday. Payback bitches! Beer spiked with Watermelon Vodka, yah I REMEMBER THAT! But anyways Happy Birthday.
Me being stupid at Suite 181. Las Vegas ($$$$$) Hah, yes it was a cheap version of a Vegas trip. Can you believe it. We stayed at the California, out in Downtown LV where the old strip used to be. That weekend was a basketball tournament which I of course had nothing to do with but we were there supporting Courtney as her team took home the championship in her division. Went with Steve, Courtney, and her friend Lindsey. Good times. "LET's GO TO THE STRIP" was my motto all weekend and we finally did on saturday night for dinner and clubbin at Tau at the Venetian. God it sucks when you get spoiled with cheap food from downtown and then head onto the strip for $30 meals at a wannabe Chinese restuarant. Usually a chinese dish is like $6 bucks tops, but not ono the strip. We had a lot of food at our hotel especially since they had $7 prime rib specials after 4pm and graveyard specials like steak dinner for $4. SOO GOOD. But of course there was some gamblin involved. Lost some the first night at Plaza but got it all back and then some playing Craps. Pace your weekend people, PACE. I would think of myself as a less impulsive gambler. Friday, was just all gambling and drinking at night. Its good seein foos I havn't seen in hella long, like some folks back from middle school. Funny how some people don't change at all and some people's personalities are just 100 times as they used to be. Good times. Tau was koo, good venue and nice hot half naked girls in bathtubs all around. The place was kind of crowded and drinks weren't as expensive as Pure, so all good. Music was especially tight, rockin the OG songs. Again, I think my liver is giving out. I sure been fukn it up dis past week. Best to take it easy the next couple of days. So we stayed at Vegas from Thursday night to Monday, and trust me, 3 days of Vegas is well enough. That Sunday, was just chill and recovering day for the long drive back to da Bay. As Courtney says, I've been givin a new light of Downtown LV, I sure have, but still tho, "lets go to the STRIP"
Courtney, Steva, Lindsey, Me looking fly outside da Bellagio tryna pose like Ocean's 11
Sampler at the Brewery in Downtown LV near our hotel. Only $5 and I now officially favor light beer. Good times, good times. And iono bout going to Reno in 2 weeks, seems too much, 2 Reno trips and a vegas trip within a month, thas VINSANITY?
| "Hi VINNIUS! It's been 303 days since you joined Xanga... won't you support us by going Premium?"
So yea, I've noticed a lot of people have subscribed to Premium and one question comes to mind. Why? Is writing journals online become so much that even a little bit of advertisements is too much because the attention will be drawn away from the entries and pictures. And after 303 days, is it really necessary for me to go to premium. I don't think so. It took such a long time to get me into xanga, not to mention that I even took myself away from it for a while until it's just something to pass time in SLO, but Premium just seems too much. I'm sorry Xanga, I don't think I can go premium and probably never will.
Boogie Boarding #3
So I've gotten pretty good at this, and on my last trip I got hella bomb ass waves that took me like 40 ft which is why we went yesterday in hopes of the same great waves. But to our surprise, windy as hell. Not the weather we had been blessed by the previous week, but cold wind knockin at our faces. Having driven so damn far, a simple retreat would not do. We treaded into the cold waters determined to make our trip mean something.
Do you feel when you're at the zoo, what if you were hella close to the animals, like animal planet stuff? So while we were in the ocean, we swam around and hella sea otters popped up around us. Then a bijillion fishes in the water swam around and seriously made the water turn dark blue, and the pelicans above our heads kept diving at the waves tryin to grab some fishes. Pretty cool, although at first, I'll admit that I thought about what if those small otters swam nearer and tried to bite us. And then the thought of those swarms of fishes swimming up my shorts scared me more. We were one with nature.
| Yes, the long awaited return to online journal entries. It certainly has been awhile, and as for my previous entry, don't even trip bout it, we're back on our feet and SLO Lambdas are here to stay.
And yet again, as we grow older in a fraternity, we look upon ourselves as the old farts of the house. As the wrinkles on our forehead add on, our white hair duplicate due to stress, we are all still young at heart. We are still young, still in college, and have a lot ahead of us to experience. To the original boyz at Watz, it was a good year, lots of partying, and thanks fo da good times.

A late congrats to those who graduated. Yall probably have jobs now and look behind you wishing you weren't on the front line entering the real world. All I have to say is... "suckAs"......... but freal, good job and i'm sure you'll do fine. Everything up to that moment has prepared you for what you are about to face and with the success you've all already put behind you, you will continue to succeed.
So early this summer, my sister got married. Congrats for her. I never knew how extensive chinese weddings were. So apparently, even if you got your certificate of marriage from city hall, the banquet is what determines when you become man and wife. I've been to many previous banquets before, but I guess it was all new to see the rituals the bride has to go through like combing the hair with leaves or the small details on how the groom arrives at the bride's house and passes through different obstacles. And the best part about weddings? would definitely have to be the food. I've never had the pleasure of carving into a roasted pig as whole serving it. So with all the work behind the wedding, I had taken part in making a slide show for my sister and now brother-in-law. I thought it'd be an easy task and get a ton of credit for something simple. However, a really good slide show takes some planning and more effort than I had anticipated. Granted my sister gets married just once, I decided I'd just make it worthwhile. The result, see for yourself.

Here some family pics. Our family use to be hella small, but now it's growin and I have in-law nieces.

And now I'm still spendin my summer in SLO. I'm currently taking one 4 unit class which I only go Mondays and Wednesdays while spending my weekends gettin out of SLO. This past weekend, I was in irvine visiting some old friends and going to some Lambda meeting. Fun stuff. Way too many food chains down there. And when theres usually no time duing the school year to do anything, I've takin this opportunity to check out Pismo more and go boogie boarding. I've even gotten hyped up bout learning some new things like surfing, guitar, and golf. Remember, I'm only hyping up because I have so much damn time and once summer is over, all this anticipation will probably be crushed and I'll never remember even having thought it up. So yes, ENJOY YO SUMMER!
| I know that it's been a long time since I've written in this blog and all, but lately I've found myself writing more than I'll ever write for all my english classes I've had to take at Cal Poly. Expository essays...my forte'
I always thought being a part of an organization would carry its own responsibilities and trials as well as tribulations, but when becoming a leader of it, there's a whole different story. This year must've been one of the more extremes year I've seen since I've been a part of Phi Chapter and leading it as its president has its times. When things go good, you feel good about yourself because you know that people enjoyed the accomplishment within the house and even outside of it if it was public. So little was there any times when it wouldn't work out and I would have to stress over it but now... the time has come.
